GreenPath Microfinance
Website and Digital Services Terms
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the GreenPath website, online loan application, loan calculator, enquiry and complaint forms, and other public digital services. By using these services, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the affected service. Separate product agreements, offer letters, training terms, partnership agreements, or client contracts may also apply and will take priority where they address a specific service.
1. About GreenPath
GreenPath Microfinance provides inclusive finance, training, technology, advisory, and client support services in Tanzania. References to "GreenPath", "we", "us" or "our" in these terms mean GreenPath Microfinance and its authorized service teams.
2. Access to our digital services
You may use the public parts of our website for lawful personal or business purposes. You are responsible for your internet connection, device security, and ensuring that anyone using your device understands these terms.
Where a service requires an account, password, one-time code, or other security credential, you must keep it confidential and notify GreenPath promptly if you believe it has been compromised. We may suspend access to protect clients, systems, or information.
3. Accuracy of information
You must provide information that is accurate, complete, current, and not misleading. You must not submit another person's information without authority. GreenPath may request supporting documents, verify information with lawful sources, and reject or pause a request where verification cannot be completed.
4. Online loan applications
Submitting an online application is an expression of interest and does not create a loan agreement, guarantee approval, reserve funds, or require GreenPath to lend. Every application remains subject to identity checks, affordability and credit assessment, product criteria, document verification, internal approval, available funding, and applicable law.
A loan becomes binding only when GreenPath and the approved applicant complete the required agreement and conditions. Product limits, fees, interest, security, repayment dates, penalties, and other financial terms will be set out in the relevant product documentation or loan agreement.
GreenPath may contact you by telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or another contact method you provide to verify information and explain next steps.
5. Loan calculator and illustrations
Calculator results, estimated repayments, indicative eligibility, rates, ranges, and examples are provided for general guidance only. They are not financial advice, a quotation, an approval, or an offer of credit.
Actual terms may differ after assessment of income, existing obligations, risk, product rules, loan duration, fees, taxes, security, and repayment capacity. You should review the final agreement carefully before accepting any financial product.
6. Enquiries, complaints, and grievances
You may use GreenPath forms to request assistance or submit a complaint or grievance. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information. GreenPath may contact you for clarification, assign a reference number, and retain the communication as described in our Privacy Notice.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use GreenPath digital services to:
- Commit fraud, impersonate another person, submit false documents, or conceal material information.
- Upload malware, interfere with security, test vulnerabilities without authorization, or disrupt availability.
- Attempt to access another user's information, restricted systems, source code, or administrative functions.
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, overload, or reproduce website content without written permission.
- Send unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or infringing material.
- Use the website in a way that violates Tanzanian law or the rights of GreenPath, its clients, employees, partners, or any other person.
We may block, restrict, investigate, or report activity that appears unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, or inconsistent with these terms.
8. Intellectual property
The GreenPath name, logo, website design, text, software, forms, graphics, training materials, reports, and other content are owned by or licensed to GreenPath unless stated otherwise. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal use, but you may not commercially reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, license, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
9. Third-party services and links
Our website may link to or depend on third-party services such as payment providers, maps, email, messaging, or social platforms. GreenPath does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Review the third party's terms before using its service.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep digital services available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, improve, suspend, withdraw, or change a service, feature, product description, or website content without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
11. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. By submitting contact details, you authorize GreenPath to send communications necessary to process your request, protect the service, or administer a relationship. Marketing communications will be handled according to applicable law and available consent choices.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Information on the public website is provided in good faith for general information. While GreenPath takes reasonable care, we do not guarantee that every page is complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision.
To the extent permitted by law, GreenPath will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on an illustration, temporary service interruption, a third-party link, or use contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights available under applicable consumer or financial-services law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, technology, security, products, or operations. The current version and effective date will be published here. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to future use.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. We encourage you to contact GreenPath first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. If a matter cannot be resolved, it may be referred to the competent courts or another lawful dispute-resolution body in Tanzania.
